House and views stunning. If you are visiting Skye you need a car but I suggest taking initial provisions with you.Local shop at Carbost is friendly and well stocked.

Amazing house, we wanted peace and quiet so we could relax in between sight seeing and that's exactly what we got. There is nothing we would change, just perfect.Did a big shop at Fort William before travelling over to Skye so we had the choice of eating in or out depending on where we were that day.The Old Inn in Carbost serves a nice meal and a pint, they will ask if you are eating and if not they will ask you to move to bar area, fair enough as it is a small pub, tables outside also with views.Cafe Cuil in Satran, Gasto, the Granary and the Isles Inn at Portree worth a visit.Boat trip from Portree, seen sea eagles, dolphins and seals.Stunning scenery everywhere we went.Skye has been on my to do list for a while and so pleased we managed to finally get there

Amazing location 20 minutes from Fairy Pools and the Cuillins. Our family of 8 had a wonderful time exploring Skye and enjoying relaxing at Shelduck House in the evenings. We can wait to go back.
