The main living areas are on the first floor, taking full advantage of the seascapes from all windows. The lounge is bright and spacious, with high vaulted ceilings and unusual feature windows that drink in the uninterrupted views across the bay. The kitchen/dining room is superbly equipped, with a central island and fully integrated units. With four large double bedrooms (one en-suite) and two further bathrooms, Shelduck House is ideal for larger families as well as groups looking for a very special holiday house in a wonderful setting.
Located at the far end of the Minginish Peninsula, overlooking the pretty harbour at Portnalong, with the Cuillin mountains clearly visible behind, it is a walkers, climbers and water-sports enthusiasts’ paradise. The Cuillin Mountain range and Macleod’s Tables are both within striking distance of the cottage.

Excellent cottage, but single track public access road was in poor condition as it wasn’t gritted in severe icy conditions - maybe an issue for inexperienced drivers….

Shelduck house is a fantastic place to stay and relax after a days walking/ sightseeing. It has all that you need for a home from home. I can’t fault it.
