Braemar Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its warmth, well-equipped kitchen, and secure garden, particularly for dog owners. The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to coastal walks and local amenities like the Inver Inn. While some guests found the mattresses too soft and the pillows in need of replacement, the overall comfort and cleanliness are highlighted positively. The conservatory is a favoured feature, offering a tranquil space for relaxation.
Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with several positive remarks about its tidiness. However, a few guests mentioned issues with cleanliness, such as stained pillows and a dirty shed floor, which slightly lowers the score.
The cottage's location is generally praised for its quietness and access to local walks and a nearby pub. Some guests were dissatisfied with the lack of local amenities like a grocery store, but the peaceful village setting was well-liked by others.
Guests found the cottage to be comfortable and cosy, with a secure garden and a warm conservatory. However, there were comments about the mattresses being too soft or sloping, and the pillows being thin and stained, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
The cottage is equipped with modern appliances and a fully equipped kitchen, but some guests noted an excess of crockery and a lack of space for food storage. There were also mentions of maintenance issues such as a loose toilet seat and the need for updates to the shower head and dryer.
