A lovely cottage warm and welcoming with good local amenities. The owner called in on us to make sure we had everything we needed We ate in the Roslyn Inn, the food was lovely and reasonably priced.Great base to explore both Roslyn and easy bus ride into Edinburgh.Edinburgh itself is fantastic with the historical areas through to the modern shops.A comphy pair of shoes is recommended as there is so much to see and do.Will definitely go back.Just one comment, we used the hoover before we left which definitely needed cleaning out re the filter as smelt of dog and we have dogs at home so know how our hoover needs a regular clean of filters etc. Would not stop us going back though.

The cottage was clean and welcoming. We had a comfortable week and would book there again. The owner came to make sure we had settled in and also came to put the bin out but we had done it. There was plenty of crockery but sadly not many glasses.I don’t think the bed downstairs is a king size bed (more like 4ft 6”). The dishwasher wouldn’t open very well, the place mats were grubby and one or two small things let it down.It was easy to get to Edinburgh on the bus (2minute walk to the bus stop) and would recommend this property.
