This attractive, stone-built cottage lies in the rural village of Grandtully, close to the River Tay in Perthshire. The Old Schoolhouse is a lovely choice for families, providing a heart-warming base to return to each evening, with a lawned garden where you can sit out and take in the day’s events. Internally, the property features a large kitchen where the chef of the group can get acquainted amongst a host of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, while the others can prepare the oak dining table for a sumptuous feast. When it comes to unwinding, head to the sitting room where you can take comfort next to the woodburning stove whilst catching up on your favourite shows, or make use of the sun lounge and challenge each other to a family boardgame. As the evening comes to a close, choose from three well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest; a king-size and two double rooms are on offer, each completed with soft furnishings and a good amount of storage space for your personal belongings. Allow your pooch to stretch their legs in the enclosed garden whilst you kick back on the patio furniture and soak up the last of the evening sunshine. Nestled on the banks of River Tay you will find a local pub and restaurant, and across the street lies the Grantully Hotel both with excellent restaurants and bars which are perfect on those nights you don’t fancy cooking.
