I found Rannoch lodge very comfortable, clean and well equipped.It’s well located and if you put some bird food out it’s very likely you see a red squirrel, I saw one twice! It was amazing.

Great base for visiting Perthshire. Aberfeldy was just a short walk away. Very cosy cottage with a lovely fireplace. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of shops and places to eat. There is a coop supermarket in Aberfeldy. The distillery is also worth a visit. We really just wanted a cosy cottage, which was clean and had a fireplace and a nice view so we could just chill and read, and that is exactly what we got. I'd suggest bringing your own firewood. Although there was plenty of wood available in shed, it was palette wood and that does not burn as efficiently as kiln-dried firewood.
