A former 18th century Bothy, converted into a beautiful modern 2 bedroom cottage. The location was ideal - quiet and private, yet only a 5 minute drive to the local village where you could obtain anything you needed.The cottage was clean and very well presented. It had high quality bedding and pillows as well as lots of other mod cons. It was ideally situated for trips to Crieff, Perth and Stirling and was competitely priced. A real gem! We hope to be back there soon.

We had a wonderful week at Newbigging Farm Cottage! The cottage is situated down a picturesque single track lane, surrounding by fields and rolling hills. Location-wise, it is a brilliant balance between blissful isolation and being a 2 minute drive in to the town with all it's amenities - the best of both worlds. Both Sterling and Perth are close by, as are many beautiful lochs, glens and castles. We particularly enjoyed stopping by some of the nearby farm shops, and visiting Gleneagles for lunch.The cottage is very well equipped and tastefully and luxuriously furnished. We enjoyed spending the winter evenings curled up by the log stove with a good book.The owner Tom was a pleasure to deal with, and cannot do enough to help, should you need it.We would definitely love to return for another relaxing break.

My husband and I are returning customers to the Newbigging Farm Cottage. We were looking for a place where we can switch off, enjoy family time, go for walks with our dog and play board games in the evenings. This, plus have access to shops and internet connection, that is! The rustic setting hides a modern and well refurbished interior with all the 21st century amenities one would need. We were impressed by high standard of the place when visited the first time, it was stylish, clean and elegant. Being located just outside Auchterarder, the access from the Central Belt is not a problem, too.I would absolutely recommend Newbigging Farm Cottage and we are already scanning our diaries for an opportunity to come back there yet again, so apologies if we snatched your slot! :)
