Lovely cottage, and fabulous garden. Only a couple of niggles...We were disapointed to find there was no welcome pack after such a long journey... not stayed anywhere for years that doesnt provide something! And also it said in the info that there was a barbeque. There wasnt. That was a real shame. Also it could do wirh a bit more attention from rhe housekeeper. There were lots of curly black hairs on the floor in the upstairs barhroom which showed it had not been hoovered. Despite those things i would stay there again.

Bad start to the holiday with no-one answering my messages and I ended up having to contact cottages.com to find out what the key code was.. Cottage then had no main bedroom blind or curtain and someone had to come and put one up.. the house is on a main road with no off street parking.. cottage was ok cleanliness wise but could have done with a thorough clean (especially in the WC's rims which were pretty gross)... the owner was apologetic and very nice but I would not recommend this and I would not return.. it would be lovely to have a coffee machine and a few nice bits.. for instance there was no soap at all in any of the bathrooms.. duvet and pillows were cheap and I had to go and buy my own to sleep there.. such a shame as we love Scotland and were very much looking forward to this trip.
