This charming, single storey cottage was originally used as an old laundry to the main house but has since been developed into a delightful holiday home in Aberargie, close to the amenities of Perth. Presented to a lovely standard, The Old Laundry Cottage is a peaceful, welcoming base up a single-track road for families or couples to call home while exploring Scotland. Its central location provides easy access to Perth, St Andrews, Stirling and Edinburgh. The sitting room’s French doors look out onto the large, enclosed garden where you can watch your children or dogs play or simply enjoy the tranquillity of your surrounds.
Make your way into the spacious kitchen/diner, fitted with a host of appliances to assist in home-cooking and settle down at the dining table, toasting to a long-awaited getaway before getting stuck into a hearty meal. It was perfect for our 2 labs with the garden and it was well equipped and spacious. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend. The only things for me, that fell short slightly was that there was a lot of cobwebs, some where on really high ceilings so couldn't be reached, but others could. The second, was the wifi. The wifi was really intermittent which we were warned about

The fully enclosed lawn was ideal for allowing our dogs to be outside. Unfortunately the previous clients did not clean up after their dogs, so we did it for them. Overall we had a quiet, peaceful and comfortable stay.

Very roomy and comfortable with everything you could need. Fab fully enclosed garden so the dogs were totally safe to run around. Great walks from the door up into the forest. Saw rabbits, red squirrels and deer. Quite remote so very quiet, but a drive to get anywhere. Close to Perth for big shopping. Great cafe at Bridge of Earn. We had a lovely week and recommend the Old Laundry to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday.
