Looking at the 8.8 start. I really thought I had arrived at the wrong property. The kitchen area was clean and usable. The dining area. Well let’s say the carpet looks like it was bought second hand from the local pub. Covered in splash marks. Very dirty. The hallway was ok. Leading to the living area . The smell of soot was quite overpowering. So I tried to open the windows. Quite old windows with Perspex screwed to the inside. But once you get the window open you will find. An industrial extractor fan from the hotel directly across the road pointing in to the said window. The smell of cooked food and smoke from the fan added to the already soot smell. Was really quite an experience.the view from the front window was the back of the hotel across the road. To the bedroom. the bed was mediocre but the en-suite toilet. Yes it was built into a cupboard with twin doors. There were many air fresheners. More than the local co-op but few worked. And the ones that did you wish they didn’t. The sitting out area was a round table and chairs. Next to the hotel car park behind the bin. All in all it was an experience. Not a good one though.
