Set in the unspoilt heart of Perthshire, Blair Atholl, home of the Blair Horse Trials, boasts a number of amenities including the spectacular Blair Castle (the only castle protected by the last private army in the United Kingdom) and the Atholl Country Life Museum, both well worth visiting. Explore the surrounding Glen Tilt and the nearby town of Pitlochry, which hosts the Festival Theatre and The Enchanted Forest, where you can experience spectacular imagery, music and lighting effects of the forest at night. Visit nearby Killiecrankie, where you can stroll through woodland and experience the wonderful scenery of The Pass and the Soldiers Leap. Amongst the many activities available, are mountain bike trails, white water rafting, walking, climbing, golf, fishing, pony trekking and watersports on nearby Loch Faskally, with bungee jumping also available for the brave! For the less energetic, sit back and relax in this cosy lodge and watch the abundance of birdlife which can be seen in the garden.

The Wee Ben is a lovely cabin that was larger inside than we expected. The welcome packs for both our wee dog and for us were lovely touches that really made a difference. How nice to be provided with bread, milk & a bottle of fizz in the fridge! The thoughtful provision of lovely, cosy dressing gowns was a nice surprise too! :-)Everything was lovely and clean and felt cosy.We really enjoyed feeding and watching the many feathered friends in the garden and were lucky enough to see a pheasant one day & hawks flying overhead.Ideally located to enjoy the local amenities & a Spar shop is conveniently just down the road. Close to the train station too which for us was ideal.The owner was very helpful & friendly.Highly recommend staying here.We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day!

We had a lovely holiday staying at wee Ben, it's nicely situated, with a nice local shop, a couple of places to eat out or enjoy a drink, and a lovely walk along the river tilt or to have a swim.It is well located geographically for visiting places of interest with nice quiet drives to get there.

We had a fantastic week in Wee Ben. Immaculately clean, lovely added extras of bread, milk, butter and prosecco! Such a peaceful area too. Lovely local walks. Friendly host too and only next door if we needed anything. Spacious garden and off street parking. We will definetly return! Only an hour to Aviemore for all the touristy things.
