Multiple reviews highlight the cottage's high standard of cleanliness, describing it as spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Only one review mentioned a bathroom drain smell, but this was an isolated comment.

The cottage is well equipped, with a kitchen that has everything needed, a hot tub, games room, and outdoor seating. Some minor issues were noted, such as the hot tub breaking down and the pool table being in a less inviting cellar, but overall facilities are highly rated.

Beautiful house very well presented everything you could need for a more than comfortable stay with stunning views out the back, road out the front quite busy with heavy good lorries as main road through the town all through the day and night but we were that tired from walking and being by the coast it didn’t affect our enjoyment one bit **. Dunure is a gem of a find, lovely cakes in the cafe and The Anchorage has wonderful food the Anchorage Chicken, Steak and Ale Pie, the rump steak, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Honeycomb Cheesecake were scrummy xxWe were extremely lucky with the weather while we reminisced about our time holidaying in Scotland in our teenage years x. Would definitely stay again should we be in the area **. Thank you

A lovely place but one downside for us was that the road outside the cottage was much busier than we anticipated with huge lorries either going to or coming from the ferry port relatively frequently. The pool table which the children were looking forward to using was in an outside cellar which was pretty bleak and uninviting! In terms of items provided, it would have been good to have a lttle more cleaning materials provided e.g. only one dish cloth , no pan scourers,. surface cleaner , very lttle washing up liquid, nothing to use in the washing machine etc. We obviously bought all these from the local ( excellent Co- Op). Only mention this as we've previously have had these provided at other holiday properties. The owner is really lovely and nothing spoiled our stay ( although the lorries were quite annoying!).
