The interiors of this dog-friendly holiday home are bright and contemporary, with large picture windows framing uninterrupted views of the glen. Decorative features like cheerful yellow walls and monochrome kitchen tiles make for an elegant and welcoming feel. The accommodation is located entirely on the upper floor and is accessed via a cattle grid and a flight of stairs.
You'll enter via a hallway where you can leave your outdoor gear before stepping into the spacious open-plan living area. Here, a cosy lounge invites you to relax in front of the Smart TV and DVD player - or curl up beside the roaring wood burner if it's a little dreich. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with skylights allowing in plenty of light, has a breakfast bar for enjoying meals together. You'll have a contemporary shower room featuring a walk-in shower for those post-hiking clean-ups. The king-size bedroom is positioned to make the most of the bonnie scenery, with its picture window framing stunning views of the surrounding glen.
The French doors in the living area open onto a glass-fronted balcony, where you can soak up valley views and the fresh country air with a glass of something tasty. The retreat also features a fully enclosed garden with a seating area, and an adjacent paddock - lovely for dogs to roam freely. During your stay, you may encounter the resident Herdwick sheep and chickens. Off-road parking for two cars is provided beside the property.
