A delightful, traditional end-terrace cottage, ideally located in the popular tourist village of Tyndrum in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland. This Tyndrum cottage provides comfortable accommodation, and is a great base for families or friends wishing to explore this stunning part of the country. This cottage in Tyndrum offers flexible sleeping arrangements with two zip/link bedrooms on the first floor offering a choice of hard or soft pillows. Your lovely Tyndrum cottage also has a sitting room and a kitchen, which has access to the rear lawned garden, plus to the front of this Highlands holiday home there is a seating area, across a quiet road set on the banks of the river. It's location near the centre of Tyndrum means this Highlands cottage is within easy access of all the facilities that this bustling village has to offer, as well as being in the middle of some of the most spectacular walking and cycling scenery in Scotland. With the West Highland Way passing in front of the cottage and the spectacular Rannoch Moor and Glencoe a short drive away, there is plenty to appeal to the walker or cyclist. Taynuilt Golf Course is also 20 miles away with a spectacular scenic drive to reach it, plus you can delve into your ancestry as Alma Cottage sits at the heart of the Clan Campbell country, and just over an hour's drive away is Glasgow Airport. The village of Tyndrum is situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and offers two railway stations, two petrol stations, a Tourist Information Centre, a couple of restaurants, a pub and the famous Green Welly Stop. For walkers, the West Highland Way passes through the village and continues north to the Rannoch Moor and Glencoe.
