Garrique Cottage was great, the view is outstanding from the living room. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. The location was very quite but also only a short distance from Sterling. The log burner worked very well too although the cottage was well heated through out the day.The Inn at Kippen provides a fair lunch at a fair price. There is also the local Farmshop at kippen roundabout. I recommend the chowder.

The cottage was so quiet and peaceful - the only sound to be heard was bird song. There was sight of sheep, cattle and deer but no sound of them. The views were lovely, and the hosts were very welcoming. There was a nice welcome pack of fresh eggs, homemade honey, biscuits, fruit and chocolate marshmallows. The cottage was expensive for just the two of us, but normally holds six so that would be much better value for money.

We arrived at Garrique cottage on a beautiful evening and to an unexpectedly stunning view. The cottage was spacious and comfortable: lovely kitchen / living room with picture windows to the garden and woodland beyond. Three comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms and another beautifully furnished sitting room with view over the surrounding countryside were perfect for our three-generational needs. The lovely welcome tray included delicious honey from the farm and Fiona did all she could to make sure we were well settled and comfortable. Probably the best cottage we've rented in recent years!
