The Lazy Lobster is a quaint cottage appreciated for its quiet location and proximity to coastal walks and local amenities. Guests have enjoyed the enclosed garden, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful touch of a welcome pack. While some guests have suggested improvements, the property serves as a good base for exploring the area.
Mixed feedback on cleanliness, with some guests reporting the need to clean kitchen items and encountering pet hair, while others found the house clean and comfortable.
The location is praised for being quiet, close to coastal walks, and near the harbour and shops, making it a favourable base for exploration.
Guests find the beds and sofas comfortable, though some have mentioned issues with heating and a preference for a dining table over trays.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and WiFi access. However, there are mentions of maintenance issues such as a loose stair strip and limited TV accessibility.
The provision of a welcome pack and the host's check-in call are noted as thoughtful gestures, although it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

On first impressions all seemed ok . However, there was no welcome package when we arrived , but I did ring the owner and bring it to his attention should he read this .Unfortunately, we came to use glasses for a drink when we arrived but had to wash them up before use as they were greasy from previous users. Fridge was not very clean , had to wipe it all out before we put our own food in there .Some of the utensils in stand on worktop had to be washed prior to use as they were sticky/ greasy .Kickboard was missing from under one of the kitchen units .Wasn't keen on the three foot gap between the property's back door and next doors back door for shared access to gardens. There was also a used dog waste bag discarded on floor by gate which I refused to move .Moving into living room area , the sofa left a lot to be desired as there were dirty marks on it .On tidying up after use of sofa there was an unbelievable amount of dog hair from previous users .On reflection of previous visitors comments , a table and chairs would be really nice to sit at to eat , rather than the trays provided to eat your meals off your lap .Although there was unlimited WiFi access for your phone it seemed TV accessibility was limited between the hours of approximately 19:30 and 11:45 pm , wether its a limited package for TV or just the area I dont know .Moving upstairs , there's an elevated area where the toilet is .The stairs have a strip at the top of the steps leading to the toilet which kept coming off .Definitely a trip hazard .On a plus location is quiet but parking is at a premium due to narrow street and locals needing access to their properties which we fully respected .Sorry , wouldn't recommend and wouldn't visit again .

Host called to check everything ok which I thought was thoughtful. Enclosed garden great for our dog and a sun trap. Although we were in a street it was quiet and 5 mins from the spectacular costal walk. If we did go back to Anglesey we would stay here again. Downside no table for your meals which he said he was in the process of addressing. Lovely soft towels. Plenty of eateries in the town. Used them all. All great

Lovely little cottage. Good base for venturing out and exploring. Comfy bed and sofa. Well equipped kitchen with small private garden. Only criticism is that there is no table and chairs inside. Personally I don't like eating off a tray, but it was manageable and a lot of people don't mind that. Can eat al fresco when the weather is fine anyway. Plenty of takeaways and pubs nearby. Water pressure a bit low but adequate for a shower. We had a fab time and would consider booking again in the future.
