At the end of a winding country lane and close to the rocky shoreline, it is set in a cluster of properties and is surrounded by six acres of fascinating gardens and trees. Within walking distance is the Menai Strait and just a few minutes’ drive away is Llanddona with its 5-mile sandy beach. Take a stroll along the beach to Beaumaris with its 13th-century castle and Victorian pier. Lying at the very heart of an officially designated aonb, there are golden sands everywhere and many outdoor recreational pursuits, including golf, riding, shooting, fishing, sailing, surfing, cycling and motor sports. There is also good walking straight from the doorstep. Shop 1½ miles, pub ½ mile.

Lovely dog friendly cottage, amazing location very pretty gardens, close to Beaumais and some great woodland walks. Very clean cottage with all amenities catered for. We had forgotten washing up stuff so we were very glad it was provided! Only thing we would have liked is better instructions for using log burner. We were a bit worried about using it without knowing how to use it properly. Apart from this we had no complaints! We will be back. Thank you

Graig Cottage was a good base for us to explore other parts of Anglesey and we enjoyed our stay overall. There are some things that requirement improvement, however, as follows: hot water is not always available; the cooker hot plates are not efficient; the vacuum cleaner likewise; and we had no bucket and mop.
