Lovely remote setting but a little too remote with no shops or amenities within walking distance. Very clean and friendly hosts and ideal location for exploring the area. Would recommend but take supplies to keep you going until you can get to the local shops in Beaumaris.

If you are thinking of booking things to bear in mind. Ensure you do all your research before you go and save it on you device as there is NO WIFI at the cottage and mobile phone reception for O2 and Vodafone is very bad so you cant hot spot. The kitchen is very poor equipped not even a pair of scissors. The glasses looked grey not sure if they were clean or not. The labels on the cooker have worn off so it guess what the knobs do. Intermittent hot water which people must have mentioned before as there is a sign saying this how it works. But combi boilers heat water as needed so once water has run through it should remain running hot. This year may had a cold spell and the cottage was cold temp set to 10 degrees but it to 20 degrees but no change. There is no information about anything so it was play hunt the boiler and work out how it works. In general the place is run down but the price doesn’t represent the state of the cottage.

Great base to get around Anglesey and North Wales. Whilst we were there the cottage was very peaceful. Parking etc was very good. Cottage has most of what you need. Beds were very comfortable. On the negative side. Could do with a little work and a good clean but nothing to put you off visiting...Boiler has a mind of it's own but I managed to use it. So all in all worth a visit.
