This wing of Wern y Wylan Court with sea views is a striking example of Arts and Crafts architecture. There is a shared garden and barbecue area, ideal for dining al-fresco. The holiday property is in an aonb, surrounded by countryside, forests and the sandy beach of Red Wharf Bay, only 0.5 miles away, and is perfect to discover local tourist attractions, including Beaumaris with its 13th-century castle, gaol, courthouse and restaurants. We have just booked to go back to Hawthorn next year, which speaks for itself. The beach, which is about half a mile away down a country lane is stunning, huge and while we were there empty. After the first day we drove down the lane and parked up as a steep walk back up. The apartment is well equipped, a bit quirky which we liked. There are no shops within walking distance but only a 12min drive. The weather wasn’t the best but we enjoyed walking across the beach/coastal walk to The Ship Inn for lunch sat outside with lots of other dog walkers!Some old reviews said there isn’t a hoover, chopping board or sharp knife, all were there when we were.
