We had a lovely week in this apartment. Cosy and comfortable and Clean . The little beach/wetlands was just down the road. We took our dog there every morning. There are no shops nearby, we just did a shop which would last the week, so not a problem, we also eat out. We made what meal we did cook very simple and quick. Would have liked a fenced off part of the garden so you could let your dogs off. The arch way door was very stiff so we couldn’t get in . So be aware you need to be forceful with the first door. I would have liked to see the names of the apartments on the outside of the building and also a diagram of where you need to park and walk to each apartment, because we arrived late in the evening and no street light, so we struggled to find our apartment , if it had the name on the wall of the building by the first door, then we would have spotted our apartment a lot easier with the torch . Apart from not finding our apartment and finding the first door difficult to open. Once inside the apartment it was lovely and welcoming, and we would return again. It is a beautiful peaceful area , the locals are all friendly and helpful too. Would recommend Loved the area, also went to Holy Island , absolutely beautiful there . If you like beaches and walks and peace & quiet this is definitely the place to visit

Ivy cottage is a lovely arts & Craft style apartment in a beautiful building. It is comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need for a great self catering holiday. The beach is a few minutes walk from the property and can be viewed from the French windows in the bedrooms. Well kept gardens with red squirrel visitors add to the peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation is not only dog friendly but the owners have gone the extra mile, providing dog towels and bowls. This was our second visit but won't be our last!
