Containing original beams and large stone wood burning fireplaces, it is the perfect hideaway holiday cottage and a fantastic base for exploring Anglesey. A sun trap in the summer, warm and cosy in winter and dogs are welcome.
A country living kitchen is the heart of the home, and with its log burning stove, comfy sofa and flatscreen TV to ensure the chef is never lonely. Complete with all the utilities needed, granite worktops and Rangemaster cooker. There are three unique and generously sized bedrooms all very tastefully decorated throughout, one on the ground floor and the other two upstairs. The main living room has large comfy sofas, double height ceilings, exposed traditional beams, original stone features and a vast inglenook fireplace, yet it is warm and cosy for snug evenings in. A quiet, mature and sheltered garden benefits from all day sun, complete with garden furniture and BBQ.
Located in the tiny hamlet of Llanfaes with its picturesque village church, half a mile from the main coast road, and only 1 mile from the ancient town of Beaumaris with its fascinating moated castle and bustling waterfront. Beaumaris has all the local amenities you should need on your holiday, with banks, post office, supermarkets, fuel services, shops, chemist, library and doctors surgery. Property benefits from fibre optic broadband; great news for Wi-Fi users on holiday.

Wonderful peaceful place to stay, right in the countryside . The Smithy is absolutely beautiful, the photos online don’t do it justice . My friend and I and my 2 dogs stayed here at the end of September for a week. It’s only 30 mins walk from Beaumaris, you can walk down the country lane or across the golf course to get to Beaumaris , which is a fabulous village with lovely friendly people, plenty of places to eat, the magnificent Beaumaris castle and of course the amazing view of the Menai straits and snowdonia in the distance . The Smithy has absolutely everything you need for your holiday . It’s very spacious, lovely and warmWith a log burning fire and radiators too. The garden is extensive and peaceful and beautifully maintained.. Stuart who owns it was extremely helpful and courteous . We immediately booked again for next year. Thank you so much stuart .

For our family get together of 6 (+ 2 small dogs) we were extremely happy here and wish we could have stayed longer! The cottage is very well equipped and Beaumaris was about a mile walk to shops, pubs restaurants etc. We visited Red Wharf Bay by car (approx. 20mins) for a great beach walk!Stuart was a very thoughtful and attentive host and I highly recommend!
