About this property
Llanddeusant 1 mile. A superb, purpose built, luxury holiday cottage on the site of a former chapel, in the hamlet of Elim, near the west coast of Anglesey. Stylishly presented with reclaimed chapel fixtures introduced throughout to add character, including original vestry doors, church pews seating and window sills fashioned from former church pews, the attention to detail is excellent. The kitchen is spacious and well designed around a central breakfast island and merges with a dining area located in front of bi-fold doors that open onto the inviting rear garden, bringing the outside flooding in. A spacious, formal sitting room is located on the first floor with comfy sofas wrapped around a woodburning stove and patio doors opening onto a Juliette balcony and revealing stunning country views and amazing sunsets.
A further reception area on the ground floor has been created to form a cosy snug room also with a woodburning stove, ideal to escape to for some peace and quiet with a good book and perhaps a glass of wine. Off the kitchen you will find a relaxing games room with table tennis table and further seating, ideal for the kids to make their own space. The bedrooms are split across the two floors, with a king-size double bedroom with en-suite and a twin bedroom located on the ground floor, and two twin rooms, a double bedroom and a king-size double bedroom on the first floor which also enjoys an en-suite bathroom.
With delightful countryside views from this Llanddeusant cottage and a choice of three sitting areas, two with warming woodburning stoves, you will be spoilt for choice for where to relax after a long day at the beach! Outside this Anglesey cottage is a large lawned garden which enjoys peace and tranquillity and a patio where guests can go to enjoy a drink and watch the sun set after a busy day exploring this wonderful island. Follow the nearby Mills Trail to Wales's only working windmill, with an excellent tea room, or why not enjoy scenic walks, wonderful sandy beaches, cycling, fishing, watersports, golf, Beaumaris and its castle, and the beautiful bays at Trearddur and Cemaes? Close to the stunning north west coastline of Anglesey, the small Welsh village of Llanddeusant is set amidst spectacular cliffs and golden, sandy beaches. We enjoyed the games room , and the snug was great for downtime . The property was clean and well maintained . It is well situated for exploring Anglesey in a quiet hamlet . We enjoyed watching horses, cattle and farm animals , plus bats and foxes from the lounge . The kids enjoyed the garden and we were all sorry to leave.

There were 12 of us ranging from age 65 to 5 and it had all we needed for our stay. It was clean, had comfortable beds, plenty of space and the kids loved the garden and table tennis. The view from the lounge is wonderful and area so peaceful. We had an issue with the boiler pouring out water whilst we were there, it couldn't be helped and Cathy and Ian along with Robin soon got it sorted and it didn't affect our stay at all. The house is perfectly positioned on the island to access all northern and southern beaches and villages. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Anglesey.

Very clean and had everything we needed, the boys were able to run around outside, lots to entertain them and a great family place in the evening. Beautiful property, beautiful place and the added bonus of the meeting the owners as they were staying across the road. Would recommend a visit
