There are sea views extending towards Bardsey Island, and a wonderful vantage point for bird watching and spotting the boats in the bay.
The front garden is a great place for the children to play, before heading off down to the beach or out for the day. Trearddur Bay offers sandy beaches, rocky coves, watersports, and a golf course, together with scenic walks along the Anglesey Coastal Path, where there are a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. A little further afield, the splendid National Trust mansion and grounds at Plas Newydd, and the medieval town and castle of Beaumaris are easily accessible. With the beach literally footsteps away, this cottage provides the perfect base for a memorable seaside holiday home for all the family, all year round.
Trearddur Bay is on the western shore of Holy Island. Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are available whilst golfers have the Holyhead 18-hole golf course. Its a place for nature lovers with birdwatching at South Stack and cliff walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range including a leisure centre, a harbour front, a marina and the Breakwater Country Park. Explore the rest of the island easily by car.
