Bran Goesgoch is a well-received cottage on a working farm, praised for its cleanliness, welcoming host, and dog-friendly environment. Guests enjoy the rural charm, proximity to beaches and walks, and the bonus of a hot tub. Some mention water pressure issues and farm smells, but the overall experience is one of comfort and relaxation, with many looking forward to returning.
Guests consistently note the accommodation is clean, with multiple reviews affirming the tidiness of the cottage. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences reported.
The location is frequently highlighted as great, with its proximity to South Stack Lighthouse, beaches, and coastal walks. The rural setting on a working farm adds to the charm, although some guests note the presence of farm smells.
The cottage is described as comfortable and roomy, suitable for both humans and pets. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort level, although some guests mention issues with water pressure affecting showers.
Facilities like the hot tub are well-received, and the farm activities are a hit with families. However, the score reflects concerns over inconsistent water pressure and some comments about the need for better Wi-Fi and fly control measures.
The host's thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome gifts of biscuits, wine, and fresh eggs, although it's noted these are pleasant surprises rather than guaranteed amenities. The host's attentiveness and recommendations are also appreciated.

She cheerfully addressed any minor niggles immediately - plumber came to bleed the towel radiators the next day. Itâs a wild, windy and glorious place. We are from farming backgrounds, so it was home from home. Other reviewers who were surprised or upset by normal farm sights or smells might need to manage their expectations! Town vs country banter aside, itâs a really great place to rest and we intend to go back.

The owner lives on site at the farmhouse and is super friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Grandson loved the animals, especially the donkeys which he fed daily. Also loved the hot tub in our little walled garden. Good parking. Will definitely return.

Lovely to walk in to such a clean and welcoming place - a bottle of wine, cookies and milk were very much appreciated! It was lovely to be able to take our dog with us - he really enjoyed meeting all of the animals on the farm! Being on a working farm is lovely but the smells were quite strong when the cow shed was being cleaned out. The location is great - only a short drive to beaches and Holyhead. WiFi is great because otherwise there is no signal - it was lovely to switch off! Would have been amazing if TV was connected to WiFi. We could connect our laptop instead. Very bright at night due to security light, which at times made it hard to sleep because curtains are not black out. We would definitely come back to visit!
