Guests say

Guests appreciate the property's excellent location, close to Cemaes Bay and its amenities, with a secure garden ideal for pets. The house is spacious and generally clean, offering a comfortable stay with good amenities. However, some guests noted areas in need of maintenance and updates, suggesting that attention to detail could enhance the overall experience.

The property is generally found to be clean and tidy, with several guests commenting positively on its cleanliness. However, there are mentions of dustiness and minor cleanliness issues, which slightly affect the overall perception.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, harbour, and local amenities. It is described as quiet and convenient, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

While the property is considered comfortable by some, there are several complaints about the quality of mattresses and bedding, as well as issues with light penetration in bedrooms. These factors have led to a moderate comfort rating.

Facilities are adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen and good showers. However, numerous reviews cite maintenance issues such as problematic locks, broken appliances, and the need for updates, leading to an average score.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as it pertains to gifts or welcome packs, as reviews do not consistently mention these aspects. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should not expect such amenities.

Great location within village 5 min walk to centre. Had some issues but contacted owner and sorted. Great location Booked again for 2026.

Upstairs chest of drawers crumbs left inside plus false nails under the edge of the bed. Downstairs bedroom underneath wooden block not attached. Kitchen broken cup handle and chipped cups. Kitchen worktop appears to be varnished and felt sticky after wiping away with cloth. Rug in living room a slip hazard when you walked on it it moved. Overall good location to town/beach and not too far to visit other location in Anglesey and Holyhead .

We have stayed at many houses through Sykes and this one felt unloved and cared for. The kitchen is in need of an overhaul. The fridge is rusty; a taped shelf inside and noisy. The work surfaces and sink are old and unhygienic. The key safe is low down so you have to crouch or kneel to access. No welcome pack. The rest of the property was adequate but tired & worn. Excellent location, lovely and quiet and a short walk to the beach.
