The fantastic island of Anglesey has 125 miles of coastline to explore, and you’ll be spoilt for choice along the way for which beaches and famous sites to visit. There are miles of coastal paths to explore where you can take in the magnificent scenery whilst spotting the local wildlife. You are just a short drive away from some of the island’s famous sites, such as South Stack Lighthouse and Beaumaris, a unesco World Heritage Site with a historic moated castle. You can take a boat trip from here at certain times of the year to visit Puffin Island! The Rib Ride boats also run from various locations across the island for the vast majority of the year, and offer a fascinating insight into history and the local wildlife. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy in this diverse region no matter your interests.

Positives- Very spacious, light house with nice bathrooms, excellent showers, comfy beds. Liquid soap provided at all sinks. Good parking.Negatives- Our bedroom had no bedside table on one side, no mirror, flimsy feeling chests of drawers & wardrobe, polycotton sheets, and cable on hairdryer too short (had to plug in under the eaves). The towels were very thin (and none provided in the downstairs toilet), and there was no spare loo roll provided. Not enough seating in conservatory or outside. The only frying pan was unsavoury, with a loose handle. We would have appreciated a hard copy of equipment instructions, not just access to an electronic version. The stairgates, though handy for children/pets were rather a trip hazard, especially for older folk- suggest giving guests the option to have them removed before their stay, as we have experienced in other rental cottages. We needed to contact the owners regarding a boiler malfunction- getting hold of them was difficult as the mobile numbers they left had to be telephoned via WhatsApp (not via standard method) which was not made clear in the contact details- I did not know one could telephone WhatsApp as I thought it was just a messaging service- a lesson learned! Once contacted, the owners moved swiftly to rectify the problem.We did enjoy our stay, but all felt that making small, quality, improvements would hugely improve the guest experience.

This is a spacious house ideal for multi-generational family get-togethers as was ours. High standard of furniture and fittings. We did have a minor issue to resolve but the owners were contactable and resolved it swiftly, and without fuss. Pre-arrival information was clear and all contacts were courteous and helpful.
