Red Wharf Bay, the beach, coastal path, pub and restaurants are all within around a five-minute walk, making it easy to leave the cars behind and enjoy this special corner of Anglesey on foot. The large kitchen and dining area forms the sociable heart of the house, with plenty of room for everyone to gather for leisurely breakfasts, family feasts and celebratory dinners. A log burner makes it equally inviting during the cooler months, while a large TV provides entertainment for relaxed evenings at home. There is also a huge family sitting room, with ample comfortable seating for everyone and another log burner to gather around after a day exploring the coast. One of the real advantages for families is the amount of additional living space. A separate playroom with a large TV and games gives children and teenagers somewhere of their own, while a football table in the hall is ready for a little friendly competition. It's a layout that works particularly well for extended and multi-generational families: plenty of opportunities to spend time together, but also enough space to find a quiet corner when you want one. The location is one of Nant Y Rhedyn's greatest attractions. Beautiful Red Wharf Bay is around a five-minute walk away, putting the coast within easy reach whenever the mood takes you. At low tide, the bay opens out into a vast expanse of sand, creating a wonderful setting for long walks, beach days and exploring the shoreline. Walkers are particularly well placed, with the Anglesey Coastal Path close by, allowing you to set off on foot and discover some of the island's beautiful coastline without first getting into the car. You won't need to drive for dinner either. The Ship Inn and The Boathouse are within walking distance, so lunches by the water, evening meals and a drink at the pub can all become part of the holiday. Explore Anglesey. When you do want to venture further, Nant Y Rhedyn makes an excellent base for discovering the island. Nearby Benllech offers a beautiful sandy beach along with shops, cafés and places to eat, while the historic seaside town of Beaumaris is within easy reach for a day exploring its castle, independent shops and restaurants. Continue around the island to discover picturesque coastal villages, hidden coves, watersports, walking routes and some of Anglesey's best-known attractions. Or simply stay close to home: wander down to the bay, enjoy a long lunch, walk the coastal path and return to Nant Y Rhedyn for a soak in the hot tub as the sun goes down. Along the north-east coast of Anglesey is a very large (4.5 miles long) bay called Red Wharf Bay. Its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. This is a beautiful location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey.
