Guests say

Guests appreciate the lodge's high standard of cleanliness, well-maintained site, and the peaceful setting. The hot tub and shower facilities are particularly praised, and the location is ideal for exploring Anglesey and visiting Benllech beach. The lodge offers a sense of home with ample outside space.

The lodge is generally found to be clean and tidy, with specific praise for its cleanliness. However, there are concerns about the hot tub's cleanliness, which affects the score.

The location is great for exploring Anglesey and is close to Benllech beach. However, some guests find the proximity to a busy road and the site entrance to be less private and noisier than desired.

The lodge offers a comfortable setting with good fixtures and a well-maintained site. Comfort is affected by issues with bright bedrooms due to inadequate blinds and the quality of garden furniture.

Facilities like the shower and hot tub are highlights, but there are recurring issues with broken blinds, minimal kitchen supplies, and mismatched crockery. The lack of dining options outside and poor quality garden furniture are noted.

While some guests mention a lack of welcome packs and gifts, which are appreciated touches, there are not enough references to consistently evaluate this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt I needed to this time because I was dreading going after reading negative reviews when in actual fact there is nothing wrong with this lodge. There is now an ironing board, a hoover, patio furniture and sun loungers and all though there isn’t much in the way of crockery and cutlery etc there is enough for 4 people which is all you need when it sleeps 4. My only small gripes are it needs a lick of paint because the walls are scuffed by GUESTS not being respectful and the fan in the oven makes a very loud noise (which I didn’t report)

Lodge lovely although the lodge to meet its description of Luxury needs a few extra touches to become luxury. There was no hand I or shower gels in the apartment at all something I expect when paying this sort of money and only one towel each no hand towels. There was only enough plates etc for four no spares so you had to wash things to use again frequently instead of allowing the dishwasher to be filled up!! You ended up putting it on for small loads. Luckily the previous tenants had left a few dishwasher tablets thank goodness. The welcome pack consist of only 1 tablet, 1 sponge and the smallest amount of washing up liquid. There was also no other cleaning products ie to clean down the sides and hob after use. Again to keep the kitchen area in good order I would have excepted this from the owners to protect their assets. Another thing to note is take tea towels only one provided and you do have to wash up more first the lack of spare mugs plates etc. The windows were extremely dirty and there were lots of spiders webs on them to so I’m guessing they’d not been clean for a while.Everything was mix matched to odd glasses etc. There was also no welcome pack either something I always look forward to this but not even a small amount of fresh milk. The other part of our family stopped directly across the road from us they had a wonderful welcome pack including Welsh cakes and paid a-lot less. These little touches go a long way and leave a lasting impression. First Impressions count. On a positive note the outside furniture had been upgraded! So overall nice lodge but definitely not luxurious !

As per previous reviews. Broken blinds in bedrooms remain an issue hindering sleep as very bright very early ! Hot tub /patio area - Overlooked by all entering the site and lodge next door. Outside furniture broken and not of a good standard. Lodge is on a busy main road and noise was an issue with road and ongoing Building works on site. . The lodge itself is of a nice standard - a few areas that need fixing - blinds /carpet damage./minimal kitchen supplies. Good location for a Short drive to beach and days out. Would not stay again as just too noisy for us. Came home early.
