1 Sandbanks is a stylish, modern lodge in a peaceful setting, praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and excellent shower facilities. Guests enjoyed the hot tub and large outdoor area, with easy access to local attractions and beaches. While the lodge is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, some guests noted minor maintenance issues, limited kitchenware, and a lack of extra touches such as hand towels or welcome packs. Overall, the property offers a relaxing base for exploring Anglesey, with most guests expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found the lodge clean and tidy, with several highlighting the high standard of cleanliness. However, a few reviews mentioned issues such as dirty windows, spider webs, and concerns about hot tub maintenance, which slightly lowered the score.
The location is generally appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local beaches and attractions. Some guests noted the lodge's position near a main road and the entrance, which could affect privacy and noise, but overall the setting is considered a positive aspect.
Guests praised the lodge's spaciousness, modern furnishings, and excellent showers. However, comfort was affected for some by issues such as bright bedrooms due to broken blinds, lack of blackout curtains, and limited towels.
The lodge offers good fixtures, fittings, and a popular hot tub. Some guests noted a lack of kitchenware, basic outdoor furniture, and occasional maintenance issues (e.g., broken blinds, oven noise). Facilities are functional but could benefit from upgrades and more attention to detail.
While some guests appreciated small extras, several reviews mentioned the absence of welcome packs, toiletries, and spare towels. It is important to note that gifts or welcome packs are not guaranteed at this property.

This was a very disappointing experience. The location is unknown to satnav so it took far too long to find the site While the lodges themselves are beautifully finished the site is not so there was still building work going on. The park is quite a distance from Benllech which meant there was nowhere within walking distance and was a car journey anywhere. For the first two days we had no internet so no television or phones. Given the high cost of this holiday it was unacceptable. We left on the third day

1 Sandbanks is georgeous inside, spacious, clean and modern. There is also a decent amount of outside space. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lodge is well equipped for crockery etc but I would recommend taking a couple of extra towels and tea towels. The hot tub is nice and private being sunk into the ground, however if privacy is very important to you maybe this is not the lodge for you as you can see into the outside space from the road. A gently sloping sandy beach is nearby with both family friendly and dog friendly sections. The Ship Inn is worth a visit.

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt I needed to this time because I was dreading going after reading negative reviews when in actual fact there is nothing wrong with this lodge. There is now an ironing board, a hoover, patio furniture and sun loungers and all though there isn’t much in the way of crockery and cutlery etc there is enough for 4 people which is all you need when it sleeps 4. My only small gripes are it needs a lick of paint because the walls are scuffed by GUESTS not being respectful and the fan in the oven makes a very loud noise (which I didn’t report)
