Beaumaris, with its 13th-century castle and fishing or birdwatching trips, is close by, as is the stunning Red Wharf Bay with its miles of open sands and an excellent waterside restaurant. Hafod y Bryn is also within easy driving distance of the Snowdonia National Park, with its dramatic mountain scenery and myriad of exhilarating outdoor pursuits. Beach ½ mile. Lovely, well equipped cottage. Easy to find, near to a good pub with excellent food and beer ( dog friendly ). Beach is excellent but is a fair walk, would suggest driving if you have difficulty walking or have small children, parking cheap and plentiful. Village well furnished with 3 mini supermarkets and takeaway shops.
