Guests have enjoyed the stunning views and spaciousness of the property, appreciating its ideal location for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. The house is well-equipped, with modernised bathrooms and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. While some areas require updating and maintenance, the property's layout and the responsiveness of the owners have been positively noted.

Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property clean and tidy, while others reported issues such as mustiness, unclean surfaces, and remnants from previous occupants. The inconsistency leads to a slightly above average score.

The property's location is highly praised for its beautiful views over the Menai Strait and its convenience for exploring the local area. Proximity to attractions and dining options contributes to a high score.

Comfort receives a good score as guests have found the property spacious and generally comfortable. However, some have mentioned that mattresses are lumpy and in need of replacement, which affects the overall comfort level.

Facilities are adequate with well-equipped kitchens and modernised bathrooms, but several reviews mention the need for maintenance and TLC. Issues with appliances and furnishings have been noted, leading to an above average score.

Guests have appreciated the thoughtful touches like a welcome pack, which included essentials for a comfortable stay. While such gestures are well-received, it is politely noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

The house was absolutely perfect for us. Clean, warm (February) and comfortable with loads of space for us all. Yes the decor is rather dated, but everything is in good condition and clean, and the house would probably have cost us a lot more if it had been dressed like something from Pinterest. The views from the living rooms and front bedroom look over the Menai Strait to Snowdonia, and the main living/dining room has a massive panoramic bay window. It was absolutely spectacular, and we spent ages watching the weather moving over the mountains one morning. So relaxing! My son stayed at the house the night before the wedding and on the morning, had some getting ready photos with his best man and grooms man on the decking with the views behind. Perfect. As it was February we didn't use the decking appart from that, but i can imagine an evening summer bbq out there would be lovely. Location was really convenient. About 7min drive one way down the road to Beaumaris, and less than 5min the other way to Menai Bridge. 15min to get back over to Bangor for larger supermarkets, and obviously the whole of Anglesey to explore behind you or Snowdonia in front of you. It was slightly tricky to find on the first day as the house is set back behind a row of mews properties so you have to follow the right road to get up but once you know, you know. I would definitely recommend this property if you want somewhere clean, spacious, homely, relaxing and affordable; with stunning views and plenty of space for larger families/groups.

The inside of the house could seriously do with a little TLC though. When we arrived the first thing that hit us was the musty smell. I can only assume that this was because the house hadn't been used for a while and so we opened all the windows to try to get rid of it. Some of the soft furnishings were covered and on lifting a sheet from a stool in the main lounge the, the stools original cover was vertually shredded. I've experienced Water Hammer on water systems before but I've never heard it as bad as I did on the tap in the kitchen. The onsuite bath needs to be looked at as the sealing/emptying mechanism is broken, and finally, but worse of all was the matresses. All of my party complained about the comfort (a 5 year old woke and said "my bed was all lumpy") of their beds. We were in the ensuite bedroom, and it felt as if it was a water bed. Each time either of us moved the other would rise, or fall, in bed. On the last night of our stay we decided that it was better to leave that night rather than have another restless night only to leave before 10am the next day. Thankyou, for the offer of rebooking another time directly with yourself for another future visit, but I think, until the bed comfort is improved, I'll not even consider it.

Everything you need for your stay is there owner even left a very tasty lemon cake tea bags milk and handy things like bin bags dish washer tablets which was very welcoming and usefull . We had a problem with the key as we thought we had lost it . The owner was very helpful and understanding and gave us advice . We found the key fortunately and the owner was so understanding . The house itself is really large with fabulous sized bedrooms and lots of storage space. We were a group of six three adults and a teenager and two eleven year old who were able to come together in the living rooms and kitchen for meals yet still have our own space to have chill time . The scenery is beautiful and the panoramic view from the sitting room is mesmerising as it changes so much with the weather . Plenty to do in the surrounding areas some good suggestions in the information book provided in the accommodation . Altogether a really lovely half term break and we would not hesitate to return . Thank you so much to the owners for the use of their lovely property .
