About this property
This gorgeous little fisherman's holiday cottage sits in a pretty terrace in Moelfre on the east coast of Anglesey. It commands fantastic views of the sea and the dramatic Anglesey coastline. Just below the cottage is the Moelfre lifeboat station.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the sitting area. There is a dining table and chairs for four.
In the sitting room there is a comfy sofa and chair set around the wood burning stove, a flat screen TV with DVD player.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. One double room with amazing views, and a bunk bedroom. The bathroom has a loo, wash hand basin, and a bath with shower over.
Penrhos Cottage is ideally situated for joining the Anglesey coastal footpath or visiting the many local beaches and attractions. Moelfre itself has much to offer. There are good cafes and restaurants, a child-friendly pub serving bar meals, and interesting little shops.
This is a delightful holiday cottage that is relaxing and cosy at any time of year.
Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife. A perfect location for travelling around this lovely island and throughout beautiful Snowdonia.
