This great property is located in Garnant, 4 miles from the town of Ammanford and 15 miles from Swansea, a great location for those wanting to explore south wales. Take a bike ride in Lyn Llech Owain Country park, a 158 acre park of woods, lakes and forest tracks for those wanting a more leisurely ride, and for adrenaline junkies you can head to the rough mountain trails. At the end of a busy day, come back and relax in the lovely enclosed garden to the rear of the property and watch the sun go down.
If it is walks you are looking for then there are plenty of sites to visit in this area. Head down to the Four Waterfalls in Ystradfellte and take in the natural beauty of the Welsh land and see the water cascading over the rocks. Head on down to the National showcase caves at Dan yr Ogof for a great day out for kids and adults. Beach 23 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We had a lovely holiday in Sonny Cottage. The hot tub was fabulous. Didn't actually use the sauna but will do next time. We booked again in March. Lovely place to really relax. Saint was great couldn't have done more for us. X

Overall, as a party of five friends,we had a lovely weekend and found the house to be spacious with enjoyable facilities and a well-maintained garden .The beds were comfortable, although the single was probably more suited to a child than an adult, plus the double bed within the property was not full sized. In our opinion, we found the bedroom storage facilities only to be adequate within the main room. We were also not provided with enough towels, per guest. The major disadvantage of our stay was the lack of cleanliness throughout the whole property. On arrival, we entered the house to an overwhelming smell of animals! We understood that this property is pet friendly and we have stayed at others similar in the past, without complaint but it was clear that the house hadn't been aired to a good standard before our arrival. Despite there being various air fresheners to hand, unfortunately, all were empty. In addition, we encountered pet hair in most of the downstairs rooms and outside seating areas,with cushions thickly coated and even finding hair in the fridge!!Furthermore, in the kitchen area,we found condiments that had expired by a considerable amount of time,plus the units and crockery were quite dirty with some dishes and cups needing to be washed before use, due to food/drink residual. Also,leftover food from previous guests had not been removed from the freezer. The upstairs of the property seemed in slightly better condition, but a pair of socks were found discarded in one bedroom, clearly left behind by other occupants and giving us the impression, coupled with the other hygiene issues that we faced, that an in-depth clean had not taken place before our stay. We were able to clean and air the property ourselves to some degree,however, we were extremely disappointed to have to do so.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was much bigger than expected, especially the garden, and had everything we could need on a break away. The hot tub was fantastic after a day out walking. Thank you for a lovely, stress free stay
