A Beautiful, Dog-Friendly StayWe had such a wonderful stay in the little cottage and honestly couldn’t have asked for much more. The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. It really felt like everything had been thought of.The kitchen was particularly well equipped, with everything you could possibly need if you wanted to cook — pots, pans, a microwave, air fryer, oven and all the usual essentials. We stayed in the smaller barn, but the facilities and grounds around it were fantastic. You’re free to wander around the grounds and sit wherever you like, which made it feel really spacious and relaxing.For us, having a dog, the two huge, secure fields were a massive bonus. Our dog absolutely loved being able to run around safely, and there are also plenty of lovely walks right around the cottage. It’s a really well thought-out place for dogs, children and adults alike.The location is brilliant too. There’s so much to see and do within easy driving distance — beautiful beaches, waterfalls, parks, nature reserves, gardens and castles. Some beaches are around 30 minutes away, while others a little further afield are about an hour, and they’re absolutely worth the drive. The nearest shops, including Tesco and Co-op, are also convenient.There aren’t loads of restaurants immediately nearby, but we had a lovely Indian meal one evening and ate at a nearby pub another day, both of which were good.If we had to mention one tiny thing, it would be the shower. A little water does escape from the shower area, particularly when my husband — who is very tall — is showering. A small absorbent bath mat just outside the shower would probably solve it completely. But honestly, this was such a minor thing and certainly didn’t affect our stay.Most importantly, the owners are absolutely lovely — welcoming, friendly and clearly take great pride in making sure their guests have everything they need.Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would happily stay here again. It’s clean, comfortable, peaceful, beautifully maintained and incredibly well thought out. Highly recommended, especially if you’re travelling with dogs! 🐾❤️

Overall my time at this cottage was amazing. The hosts were a lovely couple and were extremely welcoming. The place itself was fabulous, it gave a real cosy and at home feeling whilst also providing you with a quiet n peaceful environment. I would highly recommend anyone to book this cottage, as the hosts have put a lot of love,time and money into the place to ensure people have a great time away.
