Gwili Cottage is a peaceful and cosy rural retreat, praised for its tranquil setting, comfortable beds, and friendly, welcoming host. Guests appreciate the well-equipped cottage, lovely countryside walks, and the enjoyable swimming pool. While some mention areas for improvement, particularly with the bathroom and certain facilities, most found the cottage clean and homely, making it a great base for exploring the local area. The host’s helpfulness and local knowledge are frequently highlighted, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Several guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, but a few noted issues such as dust, cobwebs, and bathroom cleanliness. Most reviews were positive, though some mentioned areas needing more thorough cleaning.

The cottage is described as very peaceful and rural, ideal for those seeking tranquillity and countryside walks. While some noted that amenities are a drive away, the setting is generally appreciated for its quiet and scenic surroundings.

Guests frequently mention comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few reviews highlighted issues with the bathroom and some furnishings, such as single beds and sofas, which could be improved.

The swimming pool is a highlight for many, but some guests were disappointed by the need to pre-arrange access, the sauna being unavailable, and maintenance issues with the bathroom and kitchen. Facilities are generally adequate but could benefit from updates.

The host is often described as friendly and helpful, with occasional thoughtful touches like a birthday card. However, some guests were disappointed by the absence of a welcome pack, which is not guaranteed.
