While some minor issues were noted, such as small towels and an uncomfortable double mattress, the overall experience was enjoyed, with special appreciation for the cleanliness and the host's thoughtfulness.

The cottage received high commendations for cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting it as a top priority and noting the property was very clean upon arrival.

The location was appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions, although the lack of a nearby pub and walking paths from the cottage was mentioned.

Comfort received mixed reviews; guests enjoyed the spaciousness and home comforts, but some found the double mattress uncomfortable, affecting their sleep quality.

Facilities were generally well-received, with the property being well-equipped and warm. However, there were suggestions for improvement such as better bath towels and a closed-top bin in the kitchen.

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. The downside was that the bath towels were not big enough for someone over 6 feet tall. The bathroom could be improved by having either a shower curtain or screen.

We enjoyed the property which was very clean inside and out, it was a good location to meet our needs and good access to visit family. Not so keen on the double mattress as struggled to sleep each night. Towels were soft but small. We sound like we are complaining but we are not as we still enjoyed our stay, cleanliness is a top retirement for us.

Good, clean and very spacious.I would recommend bringing own bath towels as the ones provided are a little small. It was a good centre for getting out and about, but in the car. Didn't find any walking from the cottage. All in all we enjoyed our stay, even though we suffered a lot of bad weather.
