Upstairs, the first floor offers two cheerful bedrooms, each with wooden beams and flooring: the pretty twin room has a bath and shower, while the double room has partially screened en-suite shower facilities. The bustling town of Llandeilo (11.5 miles) has some friendly restaurants and pubs, and lies on the edge of the stunning Dinefwr estate. To the south-east you can head into the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park (12 miles), a fantastic location for mountain biking, hiking, climbing and horse riding. Other local landmarks include Aberglasney Gardens, Dolaucothi Gold Mines, and Llyn Brianne Dam and Reservoir, all within 15 miles.
