Set on Parc Mawr Farm, Barn Cottage (UK40021) is adjacent to Dairy Cottage (UK40022). The rural location of the farm is ideal for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Take in the views of the beautiful countryside or get out and explore some of it! You can walk from the farm through fields and public footpath to the village of Cwmdu. By car there is plenty more to see and do. You’ll find local cycle trails within a short drive – plus there’s bicycle storage at the cottage.
Llandeilo is a lovely town with boutique shops and eateries. Visit Dinefwr Castle or Newton House for some local history. For a more active day - Pembrey Country Park is a great family day out with activities like horse riding, tobogganing and even a dry ski slope!
This lovely, converted barn is charming, the contemporary interior compliments the original character of the property. Kick off your walking boots in the impressive entrance hallway, then head through to the heart of the home – the stunning living room! This double height room with exposed beams is really something, with a door opening to the patio area you can take in the beautiful views of the hills… or cosy up with the log burner going! Go through from here to the kitchen-diner where you’ll find dining space for 6 in the fully equipped kitchen – plus a utility room and toilet. The living room also leads to bedrooms at either end of the property. Firstly, the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, then the opposite side has a further double bedroom upstairs and a ground floor twin bedroom.

Lovely cottage clean but road down to it horrible.

There is a long drive along a country lane wide enough for one car only to get to cottage. The area is very hilly and not recommended for anyone who is walking impaired. The cottage is beautiful with everything you could need with stunning views from garden and windows. Say's dog friendly but lots of rules to follow. Fantastic place but not for me as walking impaired and struggled with walks in area

What a find! This lovely barn conversion is peaceful and beautiful inside and outside. Lovely walks from the doorstep. Close enough to Llandeilo with its antique shop and cafes, garden centre etc. My sister and I had a well-earned long weekend break there - and we also cycled the new Carmarthen-Llandeilo cycle path, which was very enjoyable. Huge thanks to Peter and Cybil the dog - lovely hosts. We will be back.
