A wonderful home from home and plenty of room for our 2 families, 4 adults, 4 children and a baby.Huw, our host was fabulous, and a huge hit with the children along with the horses, cows and the cheeky sheep! The house was well equipped and we will be returning soon.

We had a lovely time here. The owners were wonderful, lots of info about places to visit all across the area (and good to see their cows, ponies and dogs). The cottage is well equipped, very spacious and clean, and we really enjoyed using the hot tub after a long day. It’s in a lovely setting, with views from the spacious garden down to the river and across up the other side of the valley. It is a few miles from Llandeilo, where you’ll find a number of shops, bakeries and restaurants. It is also an hour or so from a good beach (Aberporth) and many castles and NT properties. We had plenty to do, only downside was that we had the 30C+ heatwave, limiting our afternoon activities with our two dogs. Would welcome the chance to go back.

A wonderful, spacious house located off the road in its own grounds and driveway, with surrounding fields housing some of the owner's farm stock, leading down to the river. Huw and Carolyn are unobtrusively caring and helpful, lovely people who make the holiday with their relaxed attitude to life. Llandeilo lies a short drive away and has a great selection of interesting shops and eating places. We particularly liked the Gwili café, The Chocolate Emporium, The White Horse and The White Hart (both pubs came with Huw's hearty recommendation!). The Gwili Steam Railway is a must day out, something for all ages, and even the regular train from Llandeilo Station is a great, scenic way to explore places nearby. All in all, a great value, thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable family break. P.S the hot tub overlooking the garden and fields is fabulous too!
