Garden View is an attractive, semi-detached cottage, opposite the owner's home, is surrounded by tranquil countryside, on the outskirts of Llanybydder in West Wales. Garden View is a wonderful, contemporary property for a couple or small family looking for a Welsh rural retreat to Carmarthenshire. Step into the property to be greeted by a well thought out, open-plan living room, which makes the most of the space, with lovely dark wood flooring and a neutral colour scheme with splashes of grey and mustard. The sitting room offers a corner sofa that the whole group can relax on while enjoying the view of the garden from the patio door or being entertained by something on the TV, while the dining table can comfortably seat the whole group and you can enjoy delicious meals together, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.
The property has two contemporary bathrooms to choose from; a ground-floor shower room and a first-floor family bathroom with bath and handheld shower, so there shouldn't be any queues in the mornings, while upstairs you will also find the two bedrooms, which include a master king-size with stunning original beams, a TV and Juliet balcony, overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside, as well as a cosy twin, which would be ideal for younger guests. It is the focal point for the surrounding farmers, and regularly holds horse sales. The countryside is perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers alike. Set on the border between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, Llanybydder is perfectly positioned to travel to the county town of Carmarthen with its busy shopping centre, with small individual quirky shops and the well-known high street stores, Merlin's Hill Centre and even a steam railway. The superb coastline of both south and west Wales is within 20 miles for great seaside days and coastal walks on the world renowned Welsh coastal path. An excellent central location to enjoy the south west of Wales.

Very cosy and warm, quiet location and when the clouds have parted, a wonderful nigh sky viewing from the fantastic hot tub. Family of four visited and all enjoyed the cottage. Location is around 30 mins to the coast on little roads but thatâs part of the scenic journey.

Chris and Steph were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Very good communication beforehand. Very accommodating, we had an additional dog and car and they were so helpful in ensuring nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was a huge hit, even in the rain! We managed a trip to the beach (in December) and a walk around the forests before the weather meant we needed to stay indoors, but the facilities in the cottage were suitable to keep us warm and comfortable. We are already planning to return in 2025, maybe in the summer so we can visit more of the beautiful area.
