Brynhowell is a spacious and well-presented cottage with a covered hot tub and large garden, ideal for groups and families. The property offers a range of amenities including a pool table and is situated in a location convenient for exploring nearby towns and attractions. While some guests have reported issues with cleanliness and maintenance, others have had a fabulous stay, praising the property's comfort and the owner's friendliness.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property to be very clean, while others reported dirty cupboards, unclean bathrooms, and evidence of inadequate deep cleaning. The presence of debris and a lack of attention to detail in some areas have been noted.
There is insufficient information to accurately score the location. While the property is mentioned to be a 20-minute drive from Narbeth town, there are no specific reviews that focus on the location's attributes to provide a comprehensive score.
The majority of guests found the bedrooms comfortable and the property spacious, which contributed to an enjoyable stay. However, some guests mentioned issues with broken furniture and appliances that could affect overall comfort.
Facilities like the hot tub, pool table, and large garden are appreciated by guests. However, reports of broken appliances, such as the range cooker and electric fire, and maintenance issues with the hot tub temperature and cleanliness detract from the overall experience.
A welcome basket was mentioned, indicating a degree of thoughtfulness. However, it must be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay. The lack of attention to maintenance details suggests room for improvement in this category.
With two living rooms and a sun room, this spacious property also has a hot tub, and is great for families and groups of friends..

Group of friends stayed here last weekend for my mums birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, house is beautifully presented. Huge space for a big group, very clean and bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped, my only suggestion would be to have an air fryer for convenience. Hot tub was a nice touch and being undercover was a definite bonus as the weather was terrible. Narbeth town is only a 20 minute drive away, lovely little boutiques to wonder around. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant called Barley Gastrobar. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Overall a fabulous weekend and we would definitely book again.

On arrival the house looked beautiful and Spacious. We were very happy that we had chosen to spend our family holiday there. Welcome basket was very much appreciated. However, after the initial excitement settled and we went to make a cup of tea we noticed the cupboards were dirty and filled with debris. Picture evidence was taken. Freezer above fridge was completely filled with the ice. Old dirty sponges and cloths left near cleaning area. Replacements- not including the fact that the house could have a few changes to make it more appealing to paying customers. The door mat was ripped apart and holding together by threads. Bathroom mat was covered in bleach. Bedside tables in a few of the rooms were falling off and hanging by a screw. The lovely range cooker:Well...only ONE oven was working and the other one was VERY slow warming up so cooking for 10 people was painstakingly slow. (had to make other arrangements.). The electric fire turned on however did not expel any heat. The morning after arrival we messaged the owner regarding the temperature of the hot tub and the plug in one of the bath tubs as it was not properly working (We have visited a few places with hot tubs and none of them have been as cold as this.) the owner responded saying he will come and have a look by the end of the day and that the hot tub was at 38 and wasn’t allowed to be increased for health and safety reasons. This is understandable however it was not at that temperature. He never arrived to look at the plug, not at all.Cleaning- as mentioned before the state of the cupboards, the drawers were also filthy, the cutlery divider was dirty and unhygienic. Under sofa we found an acrylic nail (from a previous customer) this shows that the cleaning was not done professional and it’s only done on based on face value and no deep cleaning is done. Cupboards full of broken items from around the home, rather then fixing or replacing they are just thrown into cupboards in bedrooms. Two of the banisters were broken in half. My niece lent on one and it broke (at first we were relieved we payed for insurance) however we noticed that there was glue on the broken parts. Meaning that it was previously broken and glued together with a cheap glue and not replaced. The bath with sliding glass doors was very unclean and covered in green and mould. None of the bathroom doors or toilet doors locked had to keep shouting to let others know when occupied. Back door didn't lock. Felt very uneasy at night. Book to explain WiFi and house rules was coming apart, sticky and not maintained.Hot tub- Other then the fact it was cold, from day two the hot tub was milky. Everyone went in the hot tub apart from two people. Everyone person who went in has got a rash, some worse than others. Very poor maintenance. the owner was seen the day we left emptying the pool. He said it was cleaned every other day but it wasn't clean after day ONE.Owner creeped round the back on one of the nights to get a parcel that was left. We said that’s fine and retrieved it for her. However no mention of checking the plug. No text or knock to let us know of her late night arrival. Would not stay again, please be careful in the hot tub.
