A superb semi-detached cottage near Newcastle Emlyn, beautifully converted from a stone barn, set on a working livestock farm in peaceful and picturesque countryside. This quality cottage boasts an open plan living area with a very well equipped kitchen, a spacious sitting area and dining area. There are two ground floor bedrooms, one with an en-suite, plus a ground floor wet room. Two further attractive bedrooms both offer en-suite shower rooms. All bedrooms have a TV and there is WiFi throughout. This cottage is perfect for the less mobile, with wheelchair access throughout the ground floor. Note: This cottage can be booked with Ref 16895, together they sleep 13.
The market town of Newcastle Emlyn offers an array of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. There is a ruined castle and beautiful countryside close by, plus the Cardiganshire coastline is just 10 miles away. There are many attractions within driving distance, making Newcastle Emlyn an ideal base for a holiday in this part of Wales.

The rooms were great and the kitchen had everything we needed: including a dishwasher, egg cups and large serving dishes. We were blessed with sunny weather which was a bonus. The parking below Ysgubor Isaf was much larger and easier than trying to take the car right outside the door. The owner was full of information and anecdotes and we enjoyed talking to him during the week. Diolch yn fawr / Thank you!

From the moment we drove into the yard, to the moment we departed on the final day, we were made to feel like part of the family. Comfortable furniture inside and out. We were in the middle of a heatwave with daytime temperatures over 30° every day, so we sat outside until after dark. A TV in every bedroom was good, and the bathrooms were well equipped. Our first visit, but it won't be the last.
