This semi-detached, period holiday cottage is a haven of peace and tranquillity, set in 6 acres of private woodlands and is just a stone’s throw away from the town of Newcastle Emlyn, famous for its 13th-century castle and traditional Welsh pubs and restaurants. Explore the Brecon Beacons National Park and other attractions including Dynevor and Dryslwyn and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

I had such a wonderful few days at Ivy Cottage! The cottage was super well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The cottage is located 10 minutes from Newcastle Emlyn which has a Nisa supermarket, very worth visiting the village as it has some great historic landmarks such as the Forest. Plus, you’re super close to some amazing beaches and stunning forests. Penny, the owner, was so approachable, and I couldn’t fault this stay at all. Thank you so much! ☺️

I thought the cottage was small when we first walked in. It had everything we needed and for the two of us and our two dogs there was plenty of room. It was very comfortable and was one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. The surroundings were beautiful and the dogs loved the fields where they could run round and play ball. Owners very welcoming and friendly.
