Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, enclosed garden, and proximity to beautiful beaches and countryside. While some guests noted areas for improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and Wi-Fi reliability, the overall experience is positive, especially for those who value rustic charm and a quiet location.

The cottage is praised for its peaceful, rural location with easy access to the coast and local attractions. Guests enjoyed the quiet surroundings and enclosed garden, though some noted the narrow access lane and proximity to neighbouring properties.
Many guests found the cottage cosy and homely, especially with the log burner and electric blanket. However, some mentioned uncomfortable seating, small TV, and issues with heating and bedding, which affected their comfort.
The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is appreciated, but guests reported maintenance issues such as unreliable hot water, dripping taps, and poor Wi-Fi. Some facilities, like the oven and fridge, were noted as needing upgrades or cleaning.

Good points: good location. The local beaches were easily accessible, only a short drive away. The property is secluded. The kitchen is well equiped. It has a rustic feel to it, maybe a bit dated. Not so good points: There is a lack of windows and the rooms are smaller than the photos suggest, so the property feels claustraphopic. What is unacceptable is the very poor wi-fi connection. I could only access the internet either very late at night or very early morning. Needs some attention to detail.

Could be a lovely place but not very secluded as houses within 3m opposite, the oven looked like it has never been cleaned ,,hence a week of takeaways and overall the cleaning was poor lots of repairs needed, and finally the wifi was non existent which being in a mobile blackspot meant we went back in time with no data.

My two search criteria when looking for a dog friendly cottage were 1. WiFi2. Enclosed gardenDespite advertising both, neither were the case.I had a call a couple of days before arrival (too late to cancel) to say 'WiFi is intermittent, BT been out numerous times, sorry'. Well..'intermittent' was significantly overstating the truth. There's very little connection for mobile data either. Good job I didn't need to work!Enclosed garden..again..yes it is a garden with a fence around it but you access it from a side gate, not directly from the house and the fence on the side by the lane is not adequate for a young border collie. Moving on...All in all the cottage is cute but rathershabby. A modest investment could make it pretty special though. Good- Kitchen very well equipped.Double bed comfy enough.Less good-Loo seat not attached to the toilet.Hot water is VERY 🔥..beware!I'm sorry to be so down on this place. We had a lovely holiday despite arriving to dirty linen on the bed (no-one told the cleaner we were coming)...but we were OK with that. Hey ho, mistakes get made. Its the imaginative advertising that was most annoying.
