It boasts award-winning sandy beaches, coves (many are dog friendly all year round), cliffs, varied wildlife and birdwatching. Whether you fancy mountain hikes, sturdy walks or a gentler stroll, you can take your pick and enjoy the natural beauty of the area, including 60 miles of the Wales Coastal Path.
Visit the picture postcard colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron with chic shopping and restaurants; quaint New Quay, where Dylan Thomas once lived and from where you can take a dolphin spotting boat trip, and Aberystwyth, with its pier, promenade and electric cliff railway and where you can catch the steam train to Devil’s Bridge and waterfalls.

Great little remote cottage with fabulous views and secure garden for pets. local village only 5 mins drive, main towns within 20 mins drive.This is our 2nd visit to the cottage and it was just as good as the first time.Incredibly clean and lots of thoughtful extras from the owners to make your stay stress free. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The first thing you notice is the view then on opening the door how immaculately clean the cottage was. The cottage has everything you need for your stay and very pet friendly, secure garden going on to another field where the dogs have a good run. Watching the red kites and woodpecker was a delight. We had great days exploring the area dolphins on a boat trip from New Quay and steam railway at Aberystwyth.
