Guests say

Tynlon Villa is a cosy, peaceful cottage set in tranquil countryside, ideal for those seeking relaxation and a break from the bustle of daily life. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and dog-friendly enclosed garden. The location offers beautiful views, easy access to walks and the coast, and a restful atmosphere. While some mention minor issues with kitchen utensils, garden maintenance, and directions, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as very clean, tidy, and well-presented, with fresh bedding and towels. Only one review mentions the garden being overgrown, but the interior cleanliness is consistently praised.

The secluded, peaceful setting is a major highlight, with beautiful countryside, proximity to walks, and easy access to Aberystwyth and the coast. Some guests found it hard to locate and noted the lack of nearby shops, but overall the location is highly valued for its tranquillity.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with particular praise for the beds and relaxing atmosphere. A few mention hard single mattresses and steps that may be challenging for some, but comfort is generally rated very highly.

The cottage is well-equipped for self-catering, with a secure garden, TV, and all essentials. Some guests noted a lack of certain kitchen utensils and oven gloves, and occasional confusion over recycling, but most found everything needed for a pleasant stay.

Guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and a welcoming host. However, these gestures are not guaranteed for every stay. Some guests would have liked complimentary tea or coffee on arrival, and clearer recycling instructions.

To start with, Ann was very welcoming, nice lady. We had trouble finding the villa as it wasn't signposted very well. The garden was not secure for a small dog, ours would get under and through the two gates, one of which went onto the main road and the other into a field with sheep. The furniture was very comfortable, the single mattresses were very hard though. Kitchen well equipped and spacious. Overall it was a nice place to stay but no local shop, we had to go into Tregaron for supplies. For older or infirm visitors the steps were very high and different heights. But overall a nice place to stay.
