The hot tub we couldnât use after the second time as the chlorine was causing reactions to the skin and very sore eyes. It was too strong so we didnât use again. The tv in the hot tub room didnât work, and No gas to the bbq which we planned to use for burgers and hot dogs for us all the first night but we managed fine with the kitchen ovens. There were bulbs out in the living room and some of the remote controls didnât work, wifi was hit and miss and we struggled sometimes with Netflix pausing and buffering. Fixtures and fittings - there were missing tie back ends and wobbly or lose fittings in several rooms which just needed maintenance. The cleanliness overall was ok but we noticed a lot of cobwebs and dust lying around. Carpets need a really strong hoovering and especially around the skirting board edges. Under the sofas in the living room thereâs a lot of rubbish thatâs not been cleaned from previous people who have stayed when you open the recliners. Plenty of parking available and appreciated the extra dining table for us to use so we could all eat together. The kids loved the play area which was one of the main reasons for us booking.

Our second stay in a few months and would highly recommend. Great facilities, everything could want and more. Stunning all round. Emma is great host and very quick at replying to any questions we had. Great location to explore the area. Highly recommended.

The house is spacious and in a beautiful location. We were disappointed with the lack of Xmas decorations. Just one small xmas tree in the living room, it didn't feel very festive. The first thing we noticed was the lack of cleaning or poor attempt at it. Dishwasher not emptied and food remains at the bottom. Mould in both kitchen bins. Food left in freezer. Cobwebs in corners of rooms. Bedding left in washing machine. I actually hovered upon arrival it was that bad. Found sweets and wrappers in living room. Maintenance issues were :Kitchen door stop fell off, Kitchen pan lining peeling off, 2 kitchen spotlights hanging off onto floor, hot tub had way too much chlorine in so couldnt use as it burned our eyes, no instructions for heating systems, grey bedroom 1st floor had concrete bits all over the floor where sealant was coming off, same bedroom shower floods, whirlpool bath jets have mould in them so when it turned on the bath had black bits floating around. All toothbrush holders unclean and couldnt be used. Hot tap dispenser didn't work first night and no back up kettle. Took photos of all issues. It could be a great house but for the money we spent it really wasn't upto standard and worth the cost. We go away alot and first time we've been disappointed with a property.
