Positioned on Custom House Terrace, within a small row of properties, at the foot of Conwy Castle, is Riverside Cottage. With stunning views across the harbour, where moored boats wait patiently for their owners, and backed by hilly countryside, this mid-terrace cottage enjoys an ideal location in the heart of North Wales. You won't want to miss an opportunity to stay in this refurbished accommodation, presented to a high standard of quality, for you and your loved one. From the front door, step straight into the living room, which is open-plan in design, enjoying plush furnishings making you feel right at home. Relax in front of the woodburning stove on the sumptuous sofa, enjoy a delicious meal for two at the dining table and if you don't fancy the cooking there are plenty of eateries just a stone's throw away. Grey carpet sweeps up the staircase to the king-size suite upstairs with ivory walls, crisp linens and an adjoining bathroom. Wake up to a refreshing shower in the large walk-in shower cubicle, or soak the day away in the gleaming white bathtub. To the exterior is a small courtyard, which backs on to the castle walls at the rear. Conwy offers its imposing castle and historic walls, a fine selection of shops and a hub of thriving activity centering on its galleries, festivals and fairs celebrating tradition. Just over the bridge by the cottage, brings you over to Llandudno Junction and further on to Llandudno town centre, where you can visit its beaches, Victorian promenade and selection of shops, cafés and pubs. Climb Great Orne, reaching the summit of 679ft, by either the Great Orme Tramway or a cable car ride and marvel at the fantastic views from the top. The Snowdonia National is also within easy reach with many waling opportunities. This is the ideal bolthole for a romantic couple seeking a coastal break.
Conwy boasts a hub of bustling activity, alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, as well as an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. This town is the perfect base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park, the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia, just six miles away.
