Betws-y-Coed (6 miles) is known as ‘the gateway to Snowdonia’, a wondrous national park which has some of the most iconic mountains, lakes found anywhere in Wales, and therefore a plethora of footpaths, cycle trails and waterborne activities to enjoy, too. Conwy’s castle (13 miles) is one of many reasons to visit the town, while the seaside resort of Llandudno (16.5 miles) is famous for its beaches, Victorian pier and promenade.
