About this property

Tucked away in the coastal town of Penmaenmawr, Conwy, is this wonderful, terraced house, 6 Erasmus Street. Enjoying a superb location just moments away from the beach and on the outskirts of the stunning Snowdonia National Park, 6 Erasmus Street is a fantastic dog-friendly choice for a group or family. Step inside, where you will discover a well-equipped kitchen for rustling up your favourite dishes, ready to savour at the dining table for six or alfresco out on the rear enclosed patio. After dinner, relax in the inviting sitting room on the corner sofa in front of the electric fire as your favourite show plays out on the wall-mounted TV. Follow the stairs up to the first floor, where you can end your day with a soak in the bath or freshen up under the overhead shower, before retiring to one of two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a king-size and a double, both with their own TV. Explore the town, where you can treat your loved ones to a delicious meal at Alexandra or The Village Bistro, stock up on essentials at the convenience store, order in Chinese or fresh fish and chips from two takeaways, grab a light bite at the Snowdonia Animal Sanctuary Café, tour the Penmaenmawr Museum, or spend a day on Penmaenmawr Beach. From here you can easily access the historic town of Conwy, home to a magnificent castle, a gorgeous beach, The Smallest House In Great Britain, Plas Mawr, and the welcoming eateries of The Jackdaw, LAVA, Watson's Bistro and The Erskine Arms. For scenic hikes and bike rides, venture into the Snowdonia National Park, where you can visit the stunning Aber Falls, take on the famous Snowdon Peak, explore the treetops of Zip World Fforest in Betws-y-Coed, or underground mines at Zip World Llechwedd in the World Heritage town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Further afield, you’ll find Llanberis, where you’ll find the National Slate Museum, Dolbadarn Castle and the nearby World Heritage Site of Dinorwig Quarry. All this and more awaits at 6 Erasmus Street.

Penmaenmawr, North Wales, is a former quarrying town that has been transformed into a charming hamlet along the coast. It is located between Llanfairfechan and Conwy and features a wonderful golf course, golden sand beaches, and numerous local pubs, restaurants, and shops. Conwy Harbor, Llandudno, Puffin Island, Anglesey, and the Irish Sea are all visible from Penmaenmawr and its sister settlement Dwygyfylchi, which are all located on the side of Tal-Y-Fan. Dolphins and seals can sometimes be spotted playing in the bay. A new bike path has opened up along the coast, connecting Llanfairfechan in the west to Conwy Marina in the east. You could also hike the Sychnant Pass and the surrounding mountains in the Conwy valley. Penmaenmawr has a thriving sailing club that attracts day visitors, as well as a 9-hole golf course nestled among the beautiful coastal scenery at the village's foothills. The promenade features many attractions, including a skate park, a children's paddling pool, and a beach cafe that is open for business for the better part of the year. A number of beach shacks are available for daily rental along the boardwalk. There is a bowling alley and all-weather tennis courts close to the shore as well.

Warm, cosy, modern, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The area was nice and quiet. The location is good for sightseeing and the beach with its promenade is a 10min walk away. To be aware of: the house is on the steep hill above the beach and therefore is a good hike to get up to when walking. Also because it is in the old part of the town, parking is very limited and you may not get outside the house. There was availability in adjacent streets. Overall, a very pleasant stay and the dogs loved Penmaenmawr beach and promenade.

In brilliant location. Near to shops. 20 minutes walk to Gladstone pub .dog friendly. Nice food. Lovely cottage inside good cooker and fridge freezer. Everything u need apart from tin opener and iron. Got tin opener now as I bought one and left it there. Walked on beach every morning. And recommended devil's appendix. And tearada Bay. Both brilliant places to visit.

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and loads of room a small courtyard with table and chairs. It's a terraced cottage in a quiet area. It's VERY hilly, no problem for us. Not much in the village, Local pub was lovely and very friendly went to Conwy which is lovely. A great cycle path from penmaenmawr to Conwy. We were so lucky with the weather, beautiful places around. Great holiday. Thank you
