Truly beautiful home, furnished to a high standard! We have made core family memories here. The house is everything you could ask for and more, exceptionally clean and the hosts have really thought of everything. From sauces, seasoning to tooth picks! A couple of my favourite features were the log burner, the huge bath and the Welcome Hamper. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The owner really spoiled a family getaway, we arrived Saturday at the house to find the key safe open with the key already there so we let ourselves in there were post it notes all around the house telling us what we can’t do, on the Tuesday while visiting old friends my daughter went back to the house, after a while there was a loud banging in the windows where the owner was screaming and shouting about the parking out the front of the house and demanding that I call her straight away, I call the owner and listened to her complain about how we had park in the wrong place and that we had brought 2 dogs and not one how did we manage to get in the house with out the key safe code and that she didn’t have any contact details for me. I explained that the key safe was open and that the cars were taxed MOTed and insured so we were not parked illegally,I then explained that we only had 1 dog when we booked but had since got a 2nd (these are only small dogs) . I then had to listen to more ranting which put a downer on my visit.The owner called my daughter blind because she didn’t know the parking arrangements which was upsetting as we had our foster daughter on the break who is partially sighted, I feel that the owner likes the money that the holiday let brings in but doesn’t like people staying there.

We as group of 7 (3 kids) had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Baobab Lodge. The welcome hamper and a couple of added extras made our arrival much easier after travelling across and were enjoyed by all! The views of the sunset & the night sky were beautiful and the views over Prestatyn were stunning. We were even treated to a flypast from the Red arrows as they were headed for the Blackpool air show! Highly recommend a stay at Baobab Lodge, thank you to the hosts for making it so comfortable.
