Enjoying views of the River Clwyd from the bedroom, this cottage is full of character and is ideally positioned for all the amenities. Just a short stroll will take you to the centre of town, where you can experience Welsh hospitality at the local pub, or for those with a sweet tooth, treat yourself to an ice cream or bag of sweets in the village shop. Steeped in history, this lovely town boasts a castle, nature reserve and wonderful walks long the River Clwyd, all of which can be enjoyed without the need for getting in the car. For golf enthusiasts, the local course is less than a mile away.
This one bedroomed cottage provides spacious and well-designed living for couples and also welcomes small dogs. With exposed beams and a quality wood burner, the living room is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. It has a Smart TV, comfortable sofas and small dining table. If you like to cook, you won’t be disappointed with the well-equipped kitchen with an adjoining utility room with access to the rear. Up to the first floor via a sweeping staircase you will find a modern shower room, and the thoughtfully presented master bedroom provides a lovely solid wood framed bed with quality mattress and linen, ensuring a good night’s sleep. There are wardrobes, drawers and occasional chair completing this relaxing space. There is no shortage of space outside with a gravelled parking area and a large well established and cared for front garden , the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee on a sunny morning whilst planning your day ahead.
No visit to North Wales would be complete without a visit to the stunning beaches. Venture over to the iconic seaside towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn or a little further up the coast to the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno, recently famed for its mountain goats. The Snowdonia National Park offering a plethora of outdoor activities can be reached in less than an hour. Come and create wonderful memories at Pen Y Bont, you will not be disappointed.

Comfortable clean little cottage with everything we needed. Friendly helpful hosts who provided a few treats as a welcome. I would suggest a little more clarity on the stairs may be useful for some guests although no problem for us.

Well situated cosy cottage, close to a number of pubs, food retailers and the old castle and motte which is a great area for walking the dog. There is off road parking but the entrance is tight for larger vehicles. The cottage is also adjacent to a main road so can be quite noisy at times although it never bothered us sleep wise. The bathroom is very nice with a good shower.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Fantastic location for everything. Lovely little touch with the Welsh cakes as a welcome gift. The owners were very helpful and text as soon as we arrived. Definitely be back. Had everything you needed and was spotless
