First impression was that the garden was a mess. This was something that drew me to this accommodation. There were weeds every where, nothing like the photo on the website. The garden furniture was broken which made it hard to move about. The views were amazing but it was not a nice place to sit out in. The owner was aware of the state of it.We booked for 6 people and there was not enough seating in the lounge for 6 people.... The property was very tired.... the sheets were clean but there were some stains on them probably due to age, same with the sofa and carpets. I realise this is a dog friendly property but that doesnt mean it should look like this. With a little bit of work it could be lovely.

The views and position of the cottage are amazing. The cottage is not.We found the cottage neglected and very unwelcoming. The house itself is dirty and the garden overgrown with weeds. The lack of photos of the interior say it all we should have read between the lines. We would not recommend this cottage or stay here again.

Morlais is a lovely house with character, some would say old fashioned decor but for us it was just perfect. I wouldn't want to stay in a house I was afraid to step inside with a bit of sand on my feet or afraid my dog Jess would have to be washed and dried before entering (although I do make sure she's isn't too horrendous). The perfect location for us with everything we needed. I couldn't help smiling at the resemblance to my grandparents house but for me this was utterly charming and just what we needed for our get away. The lamps in the rooms made it feel cozy in the evening and I would love to return in winter to get that feeling when it's blustery outside. Fantastic views from the kitchen window, back bedroom and sitting out on the patio. We hope to return very soon without having to rush home.Thank you for having us
